Review
by SUE MCARTHY
This
attractive young British girl has a lovely voice. The stand out
track for me is “Mistake” about a love affair gone
wrong, a ballad with wistful vocals and steel guitar weaving through.
This features on a DVD, and is simply, but effectively filmed.
If it gets played on MTV or one of the music channels it will
certainly do Rachael’s career a lot of good. “Mistake”
is also featured on a single.
The
most country track on here is “Highway 109”. The overall
feel of this six track album fits right in with the sounds coming
out of Nashville these days, but without the twang is more soft
rock/pop than country to my ears. Not a bad thing when marketing
over here to any but the loyal country fan. I wish Rachael success
in her career, she certainly deserves success. The album is produced
by Mark “Maverick” Moffatt
